Besides Tamil Language, English, Malay, and Mandarin is used as one of Malaysia’s education languages. In India, it is also the official language of Puducherry’s Union Territory. Tamil is the official language of Tamil Nadu, a South Indian territory, and two sovereign states, Sri Lanka and Singapore. The Tamil diaspora and Sri Lankan Muslims also talk about it.
Tamil is a Dravidian language spoken natively by the Indian and Sri Lankan Tamil people.
